What was the highlight of Hotel Sa Calma Begur
Beautiful stay
The hotel is stunning, the ambiance is so relaxing. Staff were excellent and the rooms were spacious and comfy. Parking available for €12 a day, however staff were kind enough to point us to an outdoor car park less than 5 min walk away for €3 a day due to the size of our car. It’s very safe and easy. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of Begur. The hot tub on the roof was slightly bigger than a standard hot tub and had cool water due to summer. There’s limited sunbeds on the roof but we never struggled to get one. Breakfast setting on the terrace was lovely. Hotel is very secure with key card access at all times. Steam room/sauna available for an extra cost.
Aircon could’ve been stronger but we like it super cold, so the option would’ve been nice. Breakfast is basic with croissants that are mostly chocolate and sugary, fruits, yoghurts, cereal, meats and cheese. If you were here for longer than 3/4 days I could see this being a bit much. Our shower doors were stiff and scratched on the floor every time we opened and closed them, it was more annoying than an inconvenience. The bathroom lighting could be slightly brighter.

Wonderful
The location and the infrastructure
The air conditioner was not working in our bedroom. We talked with the person at the reception and he said it would take a while to start refrigerating but it never did. Also, I didn’t like the strong fragrance all around the hotel. I’m allergic and my nose was a bit itchy because of that.
